Workshops
CAISH runs two weekend workshops each year, a Winter and a Spring Workshop. We invite our members, student fellows, professionals and professors working AI safety to discuss and collaborate on research in technical alignment and policy.
CAISH’s winter 2025 workshops will be announced in the coming months, with applications opening in late 2024.

The Winter Workshop 2025 will take place in early-mid January. Dates TBD.

Workshops typically start Friday evening and ends Monday morning. The main activities are professional talks, small group discussions, speed meetings, and research walkthroughs. Outside these, there should be a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of time for socializing and outdoor activities.

Generally, CAISH members and fellows enrolled in CAISH programs will be invited to attend.

In the past, we have had researchers from DeepMind, Apollo Research, Conjecture, Ada Lovelace Institute and ARC (Alignment Research Center) as guest speakers.
