Being a CAISH member entails:

• Regular members meetings, where we read papers and discuss AI safety and alignment research with invited researchers. In the past, this has included Professor David Krueger (University of Cambridge), Neel Nand (DeepMind), Marius Hobbahn (Apollo Research), Alan Chan (GovAI), and many more.

• Being granted priority consideration for our office space, where you can meet and co-work with other members on AI safety.

• Opportunities to connect with our network of past members, who are working at the UK AI Safety Institute (AISI), DeepMind, GovAI, Apollo Research, CHAI, Redwood, MATS and more.

• Priority invitation to our members’ winter workshop: an intensive weekend of networking and research discussion among CAISH members, with invited speakers from academia and industry.

• Joining a community of undergraduates, graduate students and professionals driven to reduce risks from advanced AI.

• Priority application consideration for our research programs, machine learning bootcamps, and other CAISH events.

Note: Applicants are expected to demonstrate good knowledge of AI safety, for example by having completed our Intro fellowship.
